COSMIC IRON

COSMIC IRON is Dmitry Matskin (or Dima for short), a Russian man who was born in Ukraine and who moved to Israel with his family in 1992 when he was still a teenager. Before Dima was even 20 he was already in love with psy and goa trance. As a result Dima spent most of his free time developing his own sound in Cubase and eventually his debut tracks saw the light and got released on ZAIKADELIC Records in 2006 as PSYCOBEAT (together with Dima's mates SPRINTER/BANZAY) and under ZAIKABEAT (together with DJ PSYCHO ZAIKA). After that Dima's tendencies turned towards even darker and more powerful night sounds and Dima's solo album as Cosmic Iron got released in digital format on SONIC TANTRA based in India.

After that Dima started writing not only darkpsy, but also some morning sounds and it is precisely because of this flexibility and diversity that he caught the attention of the BLITZ STUDIOS owner DHARMA KAYA. Following Dharma Kaya's vision Cosmic Iron was put to work together with mighty SULIMA and their VS track LITTLE MISS MEKANIKA got released on SUN BLITZ VA compiled by Dharma Kaya and SUN STATION manager DJ UNITONE. This is arguably, according to listeners' feedback, the strongest track on the compilation and one of the best tracks of the 2009 spring/summer season. At present Cosmic Iron continues to write music and play his sets in Israel, Russia and the rest of Europe.
