Born on Mars, kidnapped and brought to St-Petersburg Russia in 1983, Alex left the Motherland at a young age and went overseas: first to the United States, and eventually to Australia where he ended up spending most of his adulthood. After being into the early 90s techno wave, drum'n'bass, and electro-metal for most of the years spent in the US, Alex seriously got into psychedelic trance in Sydney at the age of 18. Having been influenced by the twisted sounds of the Russian psytrance as well as the sounds of the Australian outdoor parties, today Dharma Kaya's sets are focused on making people on the dance floor simply forget where they are… Dharma Kaya's preferred styles are powerful night psy, mysterious twilight psy, as well as more melodic morning psy, all of which Dharma Kaya plays depending on what a particular situation demands.

Dharma Kaya has already performed exclusive Blitz sets in countries as far apart as Australia, Turkey, Russia, Austria, Thailand, and Finland, and his name appeared on different line ups alongside such quality and musically varied acts as TSUYOSHI SUZUKI, SUN CONTROL SPECIES, PSYKOVSKY, NAKED TOURIST, KINDZADZA, OCELOT, FLOW JOB, IANUARIA, and ERASER VS YOJALKA to name just a few. In late 2009, Alex released his compilation FULL SERVICE which became an instant hit among DJs and party-goers around the world, followed by another big release SUN BLITZ 2 IN 2010. In 2011, Dharma-Kaya's night vision compilation MIGHTY NIGHTY was released, and it, too, received good feedback from the global community...
